I tried to research previous threads but I can't find any. My question is are m14 enhanced battle rifle E.B.R legal in Canada?

The M14 is full auto so no. But the semi auto copies are perfectly legal.

You can either get a Norinco M305 and put it in an EBR stock, or put a Springfield M1A into an EBR stock. Alternatively you can just snatch one off EE.

Oh I see, the m305 is the same thing as s norinco m14 right? Do you know roughly how much the ebr stock cost?

They are between $700-800 US, but I don't know if anybody is importing the actual Sage version.

Vltor makes a chassis for them too that might be available throught their reps here, maybe try One Shot Tactical.

The Norinco M-14 IS the M-305, at least that's what it says on the side of mine. Come on over to Main Battle Rifles. All your questions will be answered there. Read the stickies first then old posts or use the search to look for you interests. Then pull out the questions.

wow! 700-800 is pretty expensive, is it worth it you think?

It's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it! ;)

If you look a what guys are spending on TAC and XLR chassis' for their bolt guns, and then having to add buttstocks and grips I would say it's not far off. The Cadex chassis for the Rem 700 is almost 3x that IIRC.

With rifle you could potentially be looking at about $1200, which sounds pretty reasonable to me. In fact it's got me thinking about getting one myself!

Vltor's stock is not a chassis. It is a surplus usgi fiberglass stock, chop modded with an adapter bolted to it.

Sage, JAE and Troy manufacture aluminum chassis and all are legal in canada.
Sage - Del selins and bashaw sports come to mind as suppliers
JAE wolverine supplies
Troy- one shot tactical (?), or CQB services(?)
All three are hard to source most of the time due to availlabilty.

The marstar akm is a chassis but not made anymore, only availlable used - CGN EE

All of the above are excellent chassis systems.
Then in a short while, the Blackfeather is due to debut from canadian manufacturer M14.ca.

If yer after a true chassis system, you have increasing options.
There will also be a new chassis system for the M1A/M14s/M305 released from my shop soon, we are working on debuting in the second week of July ;)

When the SAGE Chassis first hit Canada, they were running around the $1100.00 mark.........I saw them as high as $1300.00..........so if you can find one for $700 - $800 that is a pretty decent price.......
