Saw lots of these around the AO and some floating around KAF, Alot of 101st guys have them. Even got to fondle one. Sage EBR stock with adj buttstock and cheek rest, Leupold Mark v scope mounted on them, one fella had the original wood stock. Awesome pic! Still working on getting myself one of these stocks as well hehehe......

To bad the CF has nothing similar as a 7.62 platform. Imagine the C1 resurrected with modern optics and upgrades.

Ah, but we do it. We use the AR-10 with a Schmidy and Bender on top of it ( I think that is the right one on there), harris bi-pod, and a can. Saw them on my tour in 06 to the Stan.

yep big tex is right saw them myself less than 3 weeks ago. we even now have a C7/ct that the boys mod'ed and are reaching out and touching target of opportunity at 500yds. with IVI ammo!! looks alot like the original C-7 with a flat top and a leupold scope on them not sure of the magnification or type. Also has a way of shutting off the gas so the rifle acts as a bolt action and has to be cocked after each round.
