M14 ejector

I have a GI M14 bolt that is missing an ejector, is it interchangeable with an M1 Garand one?

Yes, the ejector is the same....if that's all you need.
If you need the ejector and the spring it's a little longer, you may have to trim off a few coils.

Sorry ,I have to disagree . The M14 ejector is NOT the same as the ejector on the M1 Garand .The M14 ejector has 3 bevels on the face as opposed to 2 on the Garand .The neck where the spring fits is also different M14 is .075 and the Garand is about .060. It might work in a pinch, but it will be difficult to keep the M14 spring which is larger to fit snug on a ejector with a smaller neck .
I am not saying it will not work ,I have never tried it . I am just saying that they are not the "Same".

Don't worry boys, I own a bolt assembly tool- I've stripped and assembled lots of M1 bolts. Question number two:is a nork ejector the same?
