M14 Flash Suppressor W. Bayonet Lug

A good friend of mine has recently gotten into bayonet collecting.

He has an M6 bayonet and wants to display it mounted to a USGI or knockoff M14 Flash Suppressor, so it has to have the bayonet lug.

Now, I'm not 100% certain, but am I correct in my understanding that we can still buy *parts* for rifles on the ban list?

And if so, where is a place that might have such a thing? I've been haunting gun shows without any luck thus far.

Not so well as it would if they didn't keep banker's hours. :rolleyes:

Fun story: I keep a personal policy; if any company has an email address and I use it and they reply asking me to call them, they just lost my business. ;)

I don't care what it is. If you have an email, you should use it. Email gives me a record of any discussion and I can use it any time, no "Business Hours 8:30-4, monday to friday" to wrestle with for someone who is at work...8:30-4, monday to friday...If I get push back on something we talked about, here's the email.

I'll try this out, since they didn't reply asking for a phone call; they didn't reply at all, but I hate having to take time at work to make personal phone calls. it's unprofessional.

Well, it's a personal call to you.
It's a business call to them during those hours.
Just like you getting calls at work.

There are usually 2 breaks and a lunch time during the day that gives most people a chance to make a personal call.

Personally, I will take a phone call over an email any day of the week. I have had more info conveyed in one quick call with little or no misunderstandings than what would take 10 emails. Email follow up is fine after that.

To each his own I guess.


Let's not go off the rails. This is a thread about a flash hider, not preferred technology:)

Ha, it sure wasn't when I tried it. Rarely is, really.

But I emailed M14.ca. The forum would not let me email M14medic, seems he's gone now, or at least it will not let me "Start a conversation" with them.

We can source one for you if you like. US export/Can import of firearms stuff isn’t cheap so you’d do better to find one in Canada. But if you are interested send us a PM.
