m14 flash supressor

So if you repark it with the screw out, will you be able to get it back in?Just wondering about the park on the exposed threads.

Was wondering that very thing myself. I suppose you at least have a chance to clean things up rather than having it welded to the main item.

Hungry, can you shed some light on this?

Thread protectors, my friends! USE THREAD PROTECTORS! I know some of the holes can be downright tiny, but even a plug made from some rubber O-ring cord (I used to have several feet of black Nitrile cord for making cut to size O-rings) pushed into the hole will keep most of the park solution out and facilitate easier threading!

I don't thing that reparking things with the screw out will mess up the reinsertion/reinstallation of the screw. It's only a surface etching. I would go for it!!

Hungry: So, Park with or without the screws installed?

Bush: How did you make out getting that screw out?
