M14/Garand - Sights interchangeable?

I have a "M" marked set of USGI rear sights for a M14. Considering a Garand build. Is the sight housing in the recover identical between the two? Obviously the M14 sight is in meters and a Garand sight is in yards, but aside from that are they identical? How much do USGI Garand sights go for?

The are fully interchangeable. The only components that are not interchangeable are the NM windage bases and knobs as well as hooded rear sights.

Go to Marstar's site and add up the prices for the sight parts. Best to be sitting. They wanted $85 for a complete rear sight. Base alone is $39.
