m14 gun grease

I got a little squueze tube of Permatex Ultra Slick White Lithium Grease from crappy tire for 6 bucks. Has a fairly fine applicator tip, so you don't need to get a syringe.

Looks just like this, but white lithium, not graphite

Just be careful, I think all will agree, too much grease is a sand magnet. Sand not good for action. When we were in Pet with the C1, we used graphite. It was drilled into us, NO OIL! Not sure if that's still the case. I just use the regular gun oil where it counts.

Anyone tried MollySlip?

I am using CV Joint grease, applied with one of those Lee Valley curved-tube syringes. Just cut a little bit off the end 'cuz the hole is too small. The grease comes in CV Joint boot replacement kits.

I slathered some Lubriplate 105 in there, man did that ever smoothin things up, I was worried it would be a little on the thin side, but seems to work GREAT!

I found the ultimate grease for our M14's, guys. Here it is. Top this!
