I'm going to be handloading exclusively for my new M14 shorty. I've never loaded for an M14 before so I would appreciate some advice.

I'm planning to use 150 grain bullets. I have Varget and Reloder 15 on hand.

Any suggestions for loads that have worked for you?

I love BLC2 meters vary well if you are using the lee system I have not tried 150 grain bullets only 165 I’m getting excellent performance at 45 grains once I have chamber sized the brass. I only use range scrap brass. Have tried nilserp brass and have not noticed a difference. Lee kits are a good buy. I would spend the exta $ and cet the clasic press.

I get great groups with 155 gr Max, Varget and BR-2, i did shoot a couple sub-moa but usually, it will shoot under 1.5 inchs. Those Amax shoot good in every rifles i own... JP.
