I don't know why they put it in the same list as the M1 Garand when the M-14 is essentially the same rifle as an M1 Garand but with a detachable magazine and a different calibre. I'd go with the G3 instead.

X2 - Essentially the same would eliminate 90% of the top 10 list... many firearms are essentially the same but not.

Either way, they M-14 and 03 Springfield are only on there because it's an American program. There are better choices.
