M14 M1A Mags are a scaresity now

Hmmmmmmmm I'm not going to war and don't want to relive packing full C1 mags. So I'm happy with 4 mags for each rifle. Hmmmmmm

it's the same loadout ; 2 in each pouch and one in the rifle- difference is in the dragbag- which i wouldn't be without- that thing can sustain an m14 all by itself if need be-6 mags, and a full cleaning kit plus spares if need be

Oh sorry t-star forgot to mention. I only use two mags and the other two stay home sweet home JIC.

This is just a thought but during the U.S. ban that expired, Armalite sold kits and mags that would work in both the M14 and the AR10 . I would bet that someone in Canada sells the old AR10 mags qith the M14 latch on the rear that would work in the M305. They will just not hold the bolt back on the last round unless you swap out the follower for a M14 follower.
