Does anyone have a complete list of M14/M1A parts that are interchangeable with the M305? By complete list, I mean; lock, stock & barrel.

Everything is, except:

the flash suppressor castle nut of the norc - different threads

norc gas piston is slightly different diameter

"Different" is member of CGN. He has written the definitive electronic book on the M14. It is available on his website. Run a search for him, and follow the links. There is a list of compatable parts amongst all the other amazing facts.

Every threaded parts on the barrel are metric, the receivers threads are SAE type.

The gaslock is the part that screws itself on the barrel right in front of gas cylinder to "lock" the cylinder in place, its the part #29 on your diagram.

Define "on the barrel" Are we talking any part directly attached to item #1 per the diagram?
