I have been making a list of all the parts the suppliers in canada carry with prices for when i get my M305's.
I stumbled on a website called treelinem14 , holy #### have they got stuff. Have you guys had any experience with them? You tried ordering around 300$ of stuff without problems?
They would be a 1 shop stop to spruce up a Norc with USGI sights, stock, op rod spring guide, op rod spring, flash hider... Any comments appreciated.
I do get that the flash hider is probably best bought here, armtac has them with all supplied hardware and sight, reasonably priced.

Treeline is a very solid exporter for us...I've bought several parts and stocks, and have an order on the way right now. I've never ordered as much as $300 worth of stuff at once, but if Treeline had what I wanted, I wouldn't hesitate.

Had a bad rear sight on my Norc, went to Treeline to get a replacement. Also picked up a replacement op-rod spring + guide, bolt guts "oh s#!t" kit, a bolt tool, the full suite of gas system cleaning tools (they had 'em in stock unlike some of the supporting dealers). Total came to ~ $400 and cleared customs without any issues.

Cheers,

Thanks for confirming guys, i now have a solid M14 parts store in my bookmark. It's incredible they have everything.
Missing details can be found at brownells (ie 308 and 7.62 field gauge, castle nut pliers, barrel vise etc...) not really M1A parts but real handy around them

"...every where I look on there(SIC) site it says..." If you're asking about M-14 parts, they're restricted for export by the U.S. government. Regardless of value. M1A parts are not.
"...Just double checked and did not..." If you read Treeline's Terms and Conditions you'll find they do not export. Doing so will get them thrown in gaol.

... castle nut pliers ...

I bought a set and realized they are not required. The nut can be finger tightened almost all the way, and then tapped into place with a small hammer and a brass punch.

If you get a chance, CGN's very own Tactical Teacher, aka Hungry, gives M14S tuning clinics regularly. Make the effort to attend. It will expand your knowledge and reinforce your confidence. Watch the Main Battle Rifle forum for any announcements.

What'S the deal here, did dlight got lucky or is he right in saying that we can easily import from them????

maple leaf, yep i do plan to attend Hungry's clinic, that's why i don't have $$$ to spend modding the M1A now, cause i listened to his advice and got 2x M305s

They ship to Canada, I just received a USGI stock for my M305 from them today, I ordered a hand guard from them last month and received it with no problems. in my opinion they are top notch.

I imagine you can't just get bolts? stocks, op rod springs, op rod guides and sights must be a go?

Edit : Nevermind, i finally figured that when you select certain parts it says cannot ship to canada. So i just need to select parts that don't mention this and i'll be golden.

Most of my SEI M-14 was built using Treeline's parts. As you've noticed, the parts he can't ship to you will be clearly marked. I've ordered up to $500 from him with no problems, and it wasn't just luck: he's one of the few dealers that cares about us Canucks and got the appropriate paperwork to sell to us.
