now that the export restrictions in the states are lifted for optic mounts bases and rings.... will amega-ranges products start makin it up here?? They have by far the best lookin products for the standard and medium contour barrels and i think they are the ONLY manyfacturer of a full handguard optic mount for a medium weight barrel...... I need 2 
also, I am finding that my shorty/CQB m14 (type) rifles , while they look great scoped up, they would for sure handle much nicer with an aimpoint/eotech set up and this is the route i'm going to take for my Troy MCS and my fiberglassed collapsable stocked shorty builds.
next question..... for the likes of Brobee and others..... I know some of you have lots of range and field time with your forward optic equiped m14's .... which model/manufacture are you guys prefering. I'll be running TacRifle matches and fielding for hunting to 200 yards.
