m14 mags?

The only ones that cost less than that are worth less than that.

Marstar is selling Norinco, quality magazines, parkerized, with a welded catch. They're very similar to (the even-more costly) U.S.G.I. magazines.

Cheap USA brand magazines are available too, but forget them; they're absolute crap.

The best thing to get is a 1 round AIA mag - IF you can find one. Good luck with that.

i'm sure you meant a 10 round AIA mag hehehehe
rarer than golden hen's teeth :D
maybe if we bug Marstar or Canam enough they would try and bring em in....... but everyone was yellin and screamin for them this time last year....... and still none availlable unless you buy a complete AIA rifle package from marstar when they have them.

BUT..... while I can't say exactly why there is no AIA 10 round or 20 round magazines for the "aftermarket" here in Canada....... I'm guessing there is someone watchin the whole affair that would seize them on import...... even though they fall under the rules that govern magazines.
I dunno...... I called AIA last year and spoke with thier sales department head and was informed of minimum 50,000 units in stock at that time of the 10 round, chrome follower magazines. I was informed i could only order them from the authorized canadian dealer who should have no trouble placing an order....... the dealer is marstar. I'm sure, as John likes to make money, if he could have landed them for us, he would have. I ain't buggin him...... I got mine :D

I'm thinking John isn't bringing them in for a good reason - like maybe he's hoping more rifles will sell if that's the only way to get this mag, or that bringing in the mags could get them reclassified?

no logic to it.
there are thousands and thousand of 10 round AR mags in canada...... end it's an evil baby killing black gun :D

I thought the AIA mags didn't fit well in the M14, somthing about the rear catch and they had to be modified = prohib device?

Of course, another possibility is that John may already have a whack-load of these mags stuck in litigation in the US along with the rest of their inbound AIA stock.

no modifications to magazine or rifle.
we used the same 2 AIA mags in 4 different rifles yesterday. all with different guide rods ie : marstar, rauch, tartan and sadlak sorry FIVE rifles...... counting one of our VPD members who brought his newly tuned m14 out so i could walk him through zeroing and sight adjustment. 3 rifles had extended bolt stops and 2 rifles had sadlak extended mag releases. ALL parts, mags ect in original factory condition.
result, they all went bang, everytime with no malfunctions thru several hundred rounds.

I have an AIA mag I modified to fit without realizing it was illegal (first gun, new to the game) and unnecessary. :( So now it sits disassembled and useless.
Ah well, I can't afford to shoot that any rounds anyway.
Any chance you would like to sell the follower;)

Talking about 10-round mags - does anyone know where I could get a 10-round (pinned to 5)? I like the look of those...

If you just want one I got one. If you want more then one contact Wolverine.

Heck I'll sell you the one and throw in a MOLLE pouch for the thing if you wish.
