Hey guys I have a couple of questions. First off who has the cheapest m14 mags around :D

SECONDLY and this is the more difficult one I think. In a game I play called "Killing Floor" the M14 magazines have a grip plate on them. not like a ranger plate or anything it sits flush on the mag and has been slotted for finger grip. I was wondering if such a thing exist in the real world?

We are currently working on getting Mini 14 Canada Neutered mags for sale here. Price will probably be around $30.00 and they will be 20/5's. Right now we have 40/5's in metal for $69.99.

M14 magazines are sold by many of the distributors up top . They have ranged from 29.99 to 45.00 , i usually get mine from SFRC when theyre in stock , and i believe Marstar has them in stock for 35.00 a piece. and theyre 5/20's .

The finger slot holders your talking about i believe are Magpuls . theyre a rubber holder type thingie correct? with like a loop on the bottom . I havent seen a canadian supplier who has had them but its probably just because im not looking hard enough.

"...In a game I play..." Hi. Nothing real about anything in video games. That's part of their charm. Floor plate does come off on a real M14 mag though. Takes a bit of fiddling.
Marstar is listing 5 round Norinco mags at $19.95. $35 for a pinned 20 round mag.

Unless you move away from the little boy games and into a milsim like ARMA2.:p

I know the thread's technically about M-14 mags, but I couldn't help take note of this post.

Are these Mini-14 mags going to be Ruger factory mags, or are they aftermarket ones? The reason I ask is because most if not all aftermarket mags seem to have a reputation as hit or miss on reliability (though the ones I've gotten seem to be great so far). Still, at this price I'd be willing to buy a few sometime in the future - I'm sick of paying $70 to $100 or more for Mini-14 mags.

What you get now is either welded floor plates or riveted magazines. Nothing true to the originals. Some of them are poorly painted with black spray paint on the bottoms. And they want $55 or more for this s@@@@!

This thread is regarding M-14 mags NOT Mini-14 mags.

Video games teach people a lot of bad things. One of them is believing the screen world is somehow related to the real world. If something appears in a video game, it may just be imaginary ...

To repeat a Gene Roddenberry story, someone was asking him about how the Heisenberg Compensators worked. There is some fundamental physics principle that a Mr. Heisenberg discovered, and which was unceremoniously repealed by Roddenberry's compensators to keep the storyline moving. He responded, they work just fine.

I guess you're asking for the grip plate as seen in this image? Looks like a modified version of the Magpul style...but I haven't seen anything like it...

You must have trouble reading friend. I asked if there was something like it in real life. Which there is. God forbid if I ever like anything I should ask about it and obtain more information XD But thanks for your response.
Thanks to all who referred me to the magpul lineup. I'll look into it.
