M14 mount from e-bay

It's a scope from ebay. Says "RIS M14 Detachable Scope Mount Rail Base" for For Marui M14 only.

It's for airsoft but is all metal.

Any comment?

garbage.... trust me
i have seen a few decent mounts like this, they are springfield clones. A few are o.k.
those marui airsoft ones are no good at all... be warned

You get what you pay for when it comes to these rifles. Go with a trusted name or don't bother...

I have a marstar one. Seems to be well made (billet aluminum) but obscures the irons. I'd sell mine for $95 plus shipping if you're interested.

Once upon a time I purchased the M14 Airsoft RIS (Knights Impersonation). It looked good and fit but the problem is that it was machined from 6062-T0 aluminum and the REAL Knights is machined form 6062-T6 aluminum. Seems the same eh? Well, the T0-T6 makes a huge difference as T stands for Tempered and the 0 is soft and the 6 means hard.

Looks good and sounds good BUT if you do the reserch and tests you see that there is a difference.

It has been stated that the mounts to get are the Smith &/or Arms... if you are gonna go with something else be warned ahead of time. Airsoft guns have NO recoil and the real guns have alot of recoil. You might wreck your mount... and possibly your optic also... your choice.
