m14 opt rod question

hey, i was just wondering if it makes any difference what opt rod spring guide upgrade one gets. is the marstar "M-14 Match Grade Stainless Op Rod Spring Guide (new mfg.)" for $39.95 of equal quality to lets say the rooster 33? any other options? thanks guys.

I have the marstar unit, and with it the action is certainly smoother.

You can get the marsstar unit, the other is unobtainable, along with all the other goodies he used to make . On the bright side, the marsstar one works very well and smooths the action up considerably and is well made.

Now if they'd just make a scout scope mount of comparable quality from steel....and maybe a navy style sight

ya...ive heard some negative stuff about the wait times with rooster33 products these days. good to know the marstar version is comparable. thanks

Yeah, in light of Rooster33 (he really is a great guy) inablillity to quickly fill our CGNutter individual orders, I would recommend to grab the Marstar unit for $ 40.

Better yet, don't buy ONE of them.... Buy TWO !
