I almost have her done! After 8 months of picking at it.

Norinco M14s
USGI stock-Painted myself-added rails
R33 Op Rod spring Guide
Shimmed the gas cylinder and tightened everything down a bit
Leupold Mk 4 3.5-10x40
Butler Creek flip up caps
TPS 30mm rings
Leapers scope mount-No problems with it at all but upgrading to Smith Ent.
Eagle cheek rest

(Bipod, USGI sling, and weapon light not shown)

Shoots MOA consistently with factory ammo.

I am just waiting for my Smith Enterprise scope mount to show up. I am looking for a USGI Flash Hider with bayonet lug, and some USGI NM iron sites.

Looks good. I've also been thinking of adding rails to my stock. Do you find the one on the bottom hard on the hand? Is there enough room in front of the sling swivel to mount it there?

Thx

No, the rail on the bottom is not too hard on the hand. It actually helps a bit cause we all know how hard it is to keep your fingers away from the oprod. The rail adds a bit of bulk to the bottom so it is not too bad. No, there isn't enough room on the front of the sling swivel to mount it...

Overall, no complaints with the rails. BTW, I have been getting a lot of PM's about the rails. They are from Questar http://www.questar.ca/deals/Mounts.htm.

Looks awesome. After seeing this post I'm on the list with Marstar for when these come in again.:dancingbanana:
