Does anyone know where/if I can purchase an authentic M14 receiver?, if so, how much $$$ are we talking?

Never mind...

...Didn't know at the time that the "Real" M14 receivers were prohibited (Didn't even know they were capable of FA, thought they were semi-only, like the Garand.)

You would have to be 12(3) grandfathered. Folks have stripped CA M-14s to build up rifles on other receivers, maybe a stripped receiver could be found. Can't suggest what the price might be.
 
As I recall, there is an outfit in the US that makes new, semi-auto receivers, but I am not aware of any of these ever being imported into Canada. As I recall, the receiver alone costs more than an entire Norinco M14S, so you might as well get the Norinco and upgrade it.
 
As Tiriaq stated, you have to be in the 12(3) class to own an authentic M14 receiver. I have heard that Marstar has from time to time sold stripped receivers from rifles that were pulled apart to do warranty work. These would still be the Norinco semi auto M305/M14S receivers. You could always put an ad in the EE to see what may come up. Good luck!
