M14 replacement stocks

I've bought several stocks from them, and I have that exact set (and it's beautiful). Just be patient, as everything on their site goes on sale at least once a year, and the stock you want will show up for $99 at some point. Call to order and in addition to the sale price, you'll pay shipping and taxes and duty to CBSA.

Your M14 might not drop right into the stock - there might be some very minor removal of material for the trigger group to latch closed.

Be still my dicky ticker! A type 1 pepper laminate! "Limited Production Item" You best grab it while you can!!!

Ask Boyds if they will sell the stock and handguard separately there by reducing each piece to less than $100.

stock

Just bought a pepper laminate stock for my m14 . Told them to ship it after xmass cause I'll be in cancun for 2 weeks ( life sucks) .Will install later

The stocks require fitting and proper bedding or you will damage the inletting inside that they have precut...

They are having a pick of the day sale right now for the next bunch of days, the stock and handguard kit you talk of was on sale Monday I believe for $99.00. Might be worth giving them a call and a little begging likely wouldn't hurt, they might honor it. I called them first thing on Tuesday as they closed a 5 p.m. Monday and and being in AB I missed it by the time I got home, but they were great and still honored the previous day's price. They were great about it and I got the feeling they were very happy for my business. Good luck.

I thought the type 1 retained the stock liner? Yes/No?

Type 2... Fat Bastard... no stock liner, requires mucho bedding.

Type 1... Traditional contour, retains stock liner.

BTB, I don't own the type 1 in the pic I posted. I wish I did thought. The owner would not trade his type 1 for my type 2.

Excellent! I have a type 1 on the way. Though "fat bastard" sounds mean and cool...

It's a big, fat competition stock... be sure that's what you want before purchasing one. Wasn't my cup of tea.

Try Holleyman for installation help. I believe he owns the type 1 I posted. I recollect him posting pics of the areas he had to address.
