M14 Rogue Chassis System in Canada?

But not all bullpups are prohibited here. Kel Tec RFB and KSG for example. Our laws describe the overall length of a rifle, not where the action is located. Is this one banned due to the overall length? As far the length goes I think it's 34.74" which would make it non-restricted.

it is banned because it is an interchangeable stock. If the stock cannot be interchanged and it comes from the factory in a bullpup configuration it is legal. Don't even ask why that is the way the law is... More of them don't make any sense than make sense.

Hey Trevor. I forget which section of the law it is, but if the gun is designed as a bullpup it is exempt from that section.

Essentially the wording with respect to transforming a regular gun like an SKS or M-14 into a bullpup is that if the ACTION can be "fired" when removed from the original stock, the ACTION cannot be placed into a bullpup stock.

Can we get them and do they work with the Norinco M305?

Thanks,
Trevor

No, they are not legal/available in your market.

Yes, I've had two of my Norinco and one of my Poly Tech M14s in that bullpup conversion kit chassis.

Read all about it HERE

Would that not mean that the m14 can go into a bullpup as the m14 cannot be fired without the stock to operate the trigger group.

With enough duct tape the RCMP techs CAN and DO make anything fire. I believe the little Walther G22 rimfire is a case in point.
