m14 scope rings

I just got my Norinco m14 and an ARMS #18 scope mount for it. I was planning on putting a Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9x40 or a 3x9x50 on it. I wanted to hear people's opinions about it?

Also, what kind of scope rings would you guys recommend for it? Do I need low/med/high (It was one of the questions the guy at the store asked me)??

Ger the absolute lowest rings you can find. Remove the rear sight if need be. Badger's are the lowest I know of.

Even then, you will need to make a cheek piece for good eye relief.
