Hello.

I have a walnut stock that needs the selector filled in and I am wondering if it is the same procedure as the fiberglass stocks? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Darb

I few years ago I had to fill one in but he wanted Walnut. I cut and shaped a plug using a Dremel Tool and it came out very close on hte exterior.

Used Gorilla Glue to install it, sanded it flat and filled in with stainable putty and redid the stock....Wasn't perfect but a lot better than say an Arsenal Repair/patch job that I have seen.

And you can buy a drop-in plug.

No modification required, immediately and completely reversible, and with no drop in the stock's resale value.

An Acraglass kit with masking tape inside and out works. You might be able to get the colour to match or very close too.
