As most of us Norinco M14 owners know, the "Shorty" won't accomodate the M6 bayonet.
Has any one done either of the following:
a) Milled, ground, dremeled, or otherwise cut off sufficient material at the end of the gas cylinder plug in order to properly latch the bayonet, or,
b) Has any manufacturer produced a gas cylinder plug of such a dimension that bayonet latching can be effected?
