M14 Sights/ Build Help

That's what I would like to do as well, put on a .30 cal break and a gas lock front sight. Iv already got a full length m14, it's now time to build a shorty.
 
I don't have the rifle yet, I'm holding out to get exactly what I want, that's why I'm not sure if I should get a full length or a shorty.

The shorty is well already short but muzzle breaks are limited.

Full length is gonna cost mOre but I will be able to put on any break I want.

So I've been cruising the EE and I'm just waiting for the right rifle to pop up.
