I just got a GI synthetic stock for my Norinco M14. After having the stock fitted to the rifle I've found that the pin that holds the metal recoil spring guide appears to come loose. This then allows the recoil spring guide (I hope thats the right name for it) to come loose while still in the stock. I've heard that the Norinco cross pins are smaller than the GI ones; and that when you fit a Norc rifle to a GI stock you will either have to build up the GI stock around the pin or get a longer pin to match the stock.
Does anyone have any advise? Or has anyone dealt with this before?
