M14 Stocks

Want mine to look like this but different optics;

Yea it was an LMG idea that never really held water. What I'm saying is that they were produced in such low numbers that they are gonna be difficult to find. You could have one made I'm sure but the forward hardware would be difficult to get. Why not have 45ACPacking make one simular for you?

Where to get stocks for Norinco M14S

Is Fab Sports and 45ACPKING the only suppliers that the CGN guys recommends in Canada?

pretty much, sure you could ask wolverine or alberta tactical for a j. allen stock, if your willing to spend mucho dinero

My only recommendation is eBay. I have bought stocks off there before. There are a few companies that will ship to Canada, and private sellers will ship anywhere. You can usually pick up a custom made synthetic stock on eBay for less than a non-painted used one here in Canada.

Just my 2 bullets.

yup it is indeed an M14 E2 stock. Rare and BIG cash if you can find one. Finding one in that condition and with it's original hardware, like the one in the pic posted in this thread....... better buy a lottery ticket instead, you have a better chance of winning than finding a mint , new condition, original m14 e2.

I do make a similar stock in fiberglass but i am not yet a registered dealer on cgn, something i had hoped to have done by now...... but will wait for the new year. My version in fiberglass is called an M14SE2, as seen in the following pic

that was one MAJOR drawback with the e2 stock- it was heavy and "clubby" i liked the pistol grip, but the e2 stock added weight to a already heavy rifle with little or no gain aside from looking cool - they also broke easily in the wrist area- even rigging the sling wrongly would break it , and there's a tech bulletin about that- add that to the problems with the wood stock,auto fire and we had a disaster in a hot/wet climate- i think that 45 acpking's stock might be a viable answer to those problems, being made from fiberglas- now my question would be : is this stock new manufacture?- or is your stock dependent on stateside supply of surplus and modified?

US Tactical Supply

Has anyone bought Sage stocks from US Tactical Supply? They appear to deliver to Canada.

or is your stock dependent on stateside supply of surplus and modified?

the simple answer to this would be...... i have had an extremely large stash in canada of usgi stocks for quite a few years and it has been some time since i relied on u.s. sources for aquiring them. The future models of all my stocks will be new manufacture as i have no interest in dealing with cross border importing of the g.i. fiberglass ...... i'll leave that to fabsports :D ;)
however, setting up the shop for this endeavor has been a long road as i am a one man show, physically and financially. For now, every fiberglass stock i create , I offer 3 versions, is truly a hand crafted original, formed over a highly modified, unissued usgi fiberglass stock and i utilize the services of a liscenced firearms manufacturer and tool and die maker for my imbedded aluminum pistol grip mounts and buffer tube mounts. "Production" versions are to come in the new year once all the bugs are worked outta the process. These will be new manufacture. For those asking about pricing on my stocks....... I'm not going there as i am not a dealer and I am flirting with disaster (ie:cgn rules) when i start talking about my stocks. Mods and Admin have been pretty cool about it but...... I don't want to come off as advertising....... so.... no talk of pricing :D

thanks- i wanted to know as i would be prepared to pay accordingly more for new manufacture rather than a re-manufactured usgi chop job- i assume you're going to manufacture to norc specs( ie selector hole filled in and the guide rod pin thing done- ie the "popsicle mod) rather than usgi?-in the future i should like to talk to you about re-manufacturing the entire rifle, using an alternate receiver, as i have 3 c/as that are safe queens right now- and will remain that way unless harper does something about it
