Just finished watching Hungry's clinic DVD. More please!! Now I have to get all these stuff to make it happen. It would be very helpful if I can get a list of the people in this forum I can contact for tools and parts. Thank God for Hungry and Skullboy! You guys are gold!!

As long as yer #### did not fall off.

The tools can be found on ebay once in a while. I bought most of mine at gunshows and from Numrich when the M14 stuff was legal to ship out of the US. Now the Dept of Homeland Security or is it the State Dept? Well, they won't allow Military goodies shipped out of the country. We gotta play by their rules.

Bummer... Life was better back in 2002

I have allot of family in the US and I often visit them. I think I will exploit their location to my advantage. I'm going to try numrich for parts. Any other places you recommend, in Canada?

My advice, buy the Brownells barrel vise and M14/Garand wrench. They aren't cheap, but if you are going to use the tools more then once, go for the good ones.

You can see the Brownells tools in use in the M14 rebarrelling sticky I wrote in this forum.

The barrel vise can also be used for different barrels with the available vise inserts.

SKBY.

For Skullboy

I'm not going to tinker with my M14 a lot....

Could I send it to you and have you check the rifle and make sure everything is good to go

The barrel (for sure) needs indexing and I want to make sure headspace and all other parts are fine on my rifle...

PM ??

Regards

I reckon you are talking about the same dept...DHS and State Dept of Customs and Border Patrol are affiliated.

Either way...like you said, we lose out.
