I have a m14 norc it fires fine but when it loads the new round, it wont fire untill i push the trigger foreward slightly makes a slight click then is good to go. Any ideas why i have to keep pushing the trigger foreward?

You can check out my videos in my sig for disassembly of the group, it's really not that hard.
But it sounds like something is lodged/broken on the disconnector/trigger. Either that or the safety spring has popped out and is causing problems with the trigger.

The trigger group is a pretty simple device once you understand it.

Does it pass a safety check? Hold the trigger back and rack the bolt. let go of the trigger, does the hammer come forwards?

Also, if you can pull the trigger group, take some close up pictures and post them here, we might be able to give you better info.

Hold the trigger back, rack the bolt.. then pish foreward a bit on the trigger it will fire:) ill dissasemble and post a few pics then.

Are you saying that the rifle will fire by pushing forward on the trigger only or that it will only fire by pulling the trigger after pushing it forward?

Does it behave the same way if you exercise the trigger group when it is removed from the rifle?
