M14 USGI fiber stock auto hole

Ok all you M14/305 experts out there any ideas on filling that wee hole for the auto select on the GI fiber stock ? thought of using auto body filler but dont know if it will stay in place, i plan on painting after. Thanks.

Put a piece of masking tape on both sides of the cut out and fill it in with epoxy. The Acraglas kits come with a colouring agent so you can get close to matching the colour of the stock.

I'm fond of using the fake selector switch in that hole. Makes it look just like the original full-auto version. (really screws with the rangemasters!)
