M14 vs 3-point sling

Hi riflemen!

Here's my beloved M1A. Yes my girl-friend is a little jealous on her.

The 3-point sling is home-made for about 10$. It works almost as well as Galco and Specter 3-point. I like the carry options they offer.

Since I installed it I shot once. My group were 2 times bigger than before.
According to NM spec, the handguard shouldn't touch the stock. Can it have that much of an impact on accuracy?
What's your experience with 3-point sling on M14?

I'll probably go back to a factory sling that don't require as much pressure on the handguard.

Fabsports has got great slings for a great price, and he ships fast, lots of other M14 goodies too. By the way I went with the KAC top rail as you suggested.

Take the sling off the hand guard.

Yeah, Fabsport is getting more and more products! The Sage stock is "coming soon" there too!
Let us know how solid is the KAC scope mount.
