Another thing that I did wrong was I didn't let go of the oprod freely, I slid it forward slowly............
We left our m14s in -17'C (-30'C wind chill) for hours, they fire every time you pull the trigger.
Sounds like the spring pin from the stripper clip guide is too far into the receiver...
Seen a few....few customers with bad scope mount(or stripper clip guides) instalation.if the pin portrude only alittle inside the receiver the hammer will hit it and cause a failure to fire...not even a light strike as you would see with a dirty gun. Simple no ?
