I don't know how you figured it could be too low ... but yes it would be way too high ; you could probably rest your chin on the stock and it still be too high !

It is a falcon Menace 2.5x10 variable in TPS rings.
It's an older picture, as I changed the scope a couple of years back to a Vortex Razor.
Still have the Menace, just not on a rifle. I think the thought process was to keep it for a .22.
