M14 With BURRIS Ar P.E.P.R. QD MOUNT ????

I got an arms#18 on my m14 and was considering to put a burris Ar P.E.P.R. QD MOUNT on it for my scope.

But I was wondering if it would sit too high or to low.

Does anybody got some advise or experience to share with me about it ??

this mount is made for flatop ar, it is way too high for the m14 type rifles.

Even with the lowest set scope on an ARMS mount that sits in the rear iron sight recess when removed, you will be needing some form of spacer or cheek rest on an M14 - in all likelyhood.

I don't know how you figured it could be too low ... but yes it would be way too high ; you could probably rest your chin on the stock and it still be too high !

Nice setup, which scope and rings are you running on this one?

It is a falcon Menace 2.5x10 variable in TPS rings.
It's an older picture, as I changed the scope a couple of years back to a Vortex Razor.
Still have the Menace, just not on a rifle. I think the thought process was to keep it for a .22.
