Got a problem with my M1400 Win skeet gun. It was stored for 2 years in my dry basement cabinet. I took it out last night for a round or two of skeet. Can't open the bolt! I even tried placing the bolt handle on edge of table and putting a fair amount of downward force on gun. Didn't want to break handle!!

Take off the barrel and drop your trigger group and try again.
You may need to hit it gentle with a hammer and wood dowel on the handle or the bolt face.
I suspect that the gas plug has seized onto the tube, so spray it with WD 40.
This being the case, getting the pin that holds the slide rail through the tube and into the piston is going to be a real ##### also.
Use lots of penetrating oil.

Have used Kroil ( and yes, indoors) for the better part of 20 years.
My first thought was seized piston having had the same issue with a Win 1500.

PB Blaster or NutzOff work well. Can you remove the bbl with the bolt forward as it locks into the bbl ! ??
