Hi all,
I don't have an M14S/M305 yet, but I have been bitten by the bug and will soon get one.
I know that the trigger assembly is quite complicated and rough on the Rinco's. When I do actually get one I would like to make it smoother. If one were to sandblast the entire group to remove some of the heat treatment crud (and not the haet treatment itself), smooth out the main engament points with a couple of strokes using a superfine wet stone (would only remove at most a few of tenths and not a thou), possibly blue it, grease her up and put it back together. would that be advisable?
I'm not into Bubba jobs, but this appears to be a not so bad idea.
Any thoughts?
Great thanx,
