M14SA Op Rod Problem *HELP*

Just be sure to pull staight back when racking the rifle, if it doesn't come out when firing it shouldn't be a problem.

If it does come out when firing, and your op rod guide is straight, then you may need a new op rod. Seeing as how LRB uses GI parts in thier builds, your op rod has most likely seen some use before becoming part of your rifle.

Dlask Arms has a great deal on op rods made by RWB to USGI specs. You wont find a better replacement.

I second the Op rod.

Fulton Armory once sold a little hard rubber bumper pad that was held in by the recoil op rod spring. It was intended to soften the impact of the op rod slamming the reciever. If you can find one - and I dont remember what they were called - but it would might just shorten the stroke just enough to stop this from happening.

The real solution though is a new Dlask op rod - they are half price right now - but you may need to fit it to the reciever.

I have a 2011 m305s and I find that the oprod is impossible to get out. Takes me a couple minutes of fiddling and stuff to get it loose. Is there a way you could compare with someone else?
