Call 911 Supply, here in Calgary 287-1911. He is a large Pelican dealer.

I should have held out, as the new Pelican cases have the better latches. These old style latches still rip off the odd finger nail trying to open. The newer ones have the extra lever and the lock "holes" are metal lined.
 
I dont like the new latch style - I got one via the CF and due to the weight in the case the latches consistantly failed -- the case had to be locked to stay shut.

I do like the lock holes being metal however.


Koldt-- I may have some NV toys for you to peruse if I come back to Canada on leave in Aug...

Koldt ask them to get in the new style latches they retro fit to the older cases and should be free from Pelican I requested and recieved from Pelican the new latches and recieved them 5 days latter

Well, good thing I still got the older style then, cause this case is heavy.

New NV stuff, great. Always fun to play with.

Did you just order them direct from Pelican?
 
Yes ,but just talk to Kevin or Gord they order theres from the Distributor in Edmonton and they carry replacement parts I am sur that they could get them in for you

Did already, and Kevin said it may take awhile. But if you called Pelican direct, maybe I'll try that.
