The Gibbs costs less and that's even if I get it imported through Prophet River Arms. I don't know what the big hulabaloo about the James River Armory copy is all about. The Gibbs gets pretty darn good revues. I don't understand why the JRA's cost us pork and beaners that much more from a local business. HMMMM!

I'm not a fan of the faked stock markings and chinese hi-lux scopes. Yuck. I would pay more to have them use readily available original C-stocks and weaver 330C scopes.

FWIW, you can rebuild your own from all GI parts for less than a JRA. Take my most recent M1903 build, for example. After the typical $500 Wantsall markup, these would be over $1600 from JRA. I probably have about $1200 or so into this rifle, including the park job from Armacoat.

And it's made of all authentic, no Chinese parts. Also, my screw heads are not buggered up, unlike those on the nosecap pics of that JRA clone.
