M1906 Krag-Jorgensen

I inherited a Krag-Jorgensen M1906 "boys carbine" in 6.5x55. I'd say it's in fair/good condition...but I have no use for it myself.
Would anyone know the value of one of these?

Is the gun original and complete or has it been altered? Makes one huge difference if it is not in original configuration. How rough is the bore? Pics will really help in evaluating a gun like this.

As far as I can tell, it's all original based on what I've been able to Google on these guns. I'd say the bore is fair to good...

I'll see if I can post some pics...

Are you sure it's a Boys Carbine? Could you give us a serial number?

It's worth more than $500.00 in my opinion if it is an original uncut, unmessed with carbine unless totally junk.
