Has anyone bought and used the m1907 sling that marstar is selling? This is the link :

I wanted to get input on whether or not to pick one up. I would like to use it for target shooting with my lee enfield.

The price looks good, I'm just wondering about the quality and how it feels for target shooting. If this is in the wrong forum, let me know. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Get a Turner Sadlery sling, top quality and not alot more $$.
I have one of the Marstar ones, it's very stiff and the brass buckles are really hard to push through the holes. Turner is 10x the quality.

Alright, so a turner sling it is then. They sell the traditional m1907 sling and then they have a competition sling, which is similar. What should I buy? If I get the competition sling, it also has the length option on it as well. What length do most target shooters use? I need input before I buy a 50 dollar sling from the states and then shipping on top. Any help would be great!!!

P.S. has anyone tried that "Turner All Weather Sling"? That looks interesting as well since I hunt too! Let me know if you have tried or know someone who has tried it. Here is the link.

Turner sling

I put the Carlos Hathcock 1907 sling from Turner on my Garand and it is great! You can order the long strap in whichever length you want (50 inches for me), and it is a total quality product. I have some acquaintance with fine leather through my Vic Bennett saddles, and the Turner slings rate tops with me. I'm going to order another one to put in QD swivels, so that I can try it on my sporting rifles.

The thing I like the most about the sling is that royalties from the sales are sent by MGySgt. Turner (USMC ret.) to the family of the late GySgt. Carlos Hathcock, so I am able to offer a small tribute to a great Marine who removed numbers of Communist threats to the free world, and suffered greatly in his service to the cause of liberty.

Semper Fidelis!
