M1911, 100 years of .45 goodness

So I have been sort of expecting manufacturers to pump out the 1911 on the 100 anniversary. But I have yet to see anything.

So can anyone give direction? What can we expect on this 100th anniversary?

Are there some cool models coming out? or should I be preparing to dump cash in building up my Norinco commander?

Bill Laughridge of Cylinder & Slide is putting out a reproduction of an early 1911 in the 3000 range of serial numbers. It is a limited run of 100 pistols at a cost of $5000.00 each.

While I don't want to speculate, being that the year is 2011 I just can't help it.

The bidding has slowed down considerably in the last 2 days.
It's only gone up by $12,000.
For the price this thing will go for they could have at least indexed the grip screws.
