Doesn't wrapping the sling around the handguard like that cause it to tighten around the barrel? I thought that was a no-no.

You're right, it will affect accuracy.

I'm planning to install flush QD swivel cups on my stocks, near the handguard/front-band.

You'd probably find something like that in my trash can. See I'm a man of refined tastes, even though I ate 4 McDonalds BLT's this morning for breakfast, and fished the salami out of my sandwich to give them some extra flavour. That's what happens when bacon just isn't good enough anymore

You can order that stuff in from the USA fyi, just ask farmboy if he can get them in or if he can give you a pro tip
