M1A Barreling

Barreling an M1A Receiver, have a choice of two standard USGI barrels. One is TRW, the other a SAK. Both in the same excellent condition.
I know that all barrels had to meet spec, any other advice/experience on which would be best?

Practically there is no difference, though the TRW parts are generally the most sought after by collectors and have been noted for their overall quality.

Anecdotal evidence, including my own, gives the nod to Saco-Lowell. YMMV

SAK , as far as g.I. Barrels go are deemed to be king of the heap.
The internet has served well to inflate the trw mystique.
People pay more for trw... Because they assume it's better
The only part made by trw that in my opinion deserves higher recognition/value were their one piece oprods.

Just checked my M1A and it has a SAK marked Light National Match barrel ...nice to hear they are of excellent quality.
