M1A gas plug replacement Versapod mount?

Was just browsing through SKSman.com, when I came across a Versapod adapter for the M1A that replaces the gas plug: see here (you have to scroll down a bit): h ttp://www.sksman.com/acces/bpods1.php

Does anybody have any experience with these? Could it shift POI? Will the threads on an M1A gas plug fit a Norc M14? Will it give me a case of M-14 Genital Disconnection Syndrome?

Don't DO IT.......your d!ck will fall off.

Well no, but your gas assembly should be handling gas...not act as the point of attachment for a bipod.

Get yourself a swivel and attach it to your stock to mount your Versa pod or Harris pod.

Stay away from that..................Your POI will change, and shot to shot consistency will change.

You don't want to interfere with the barrel or it's harmonics...............
