How bout used?

2-3 weeks ago there was a used, but in great shape M1A National Match on the shelf at Proline in Calgary. Not sure if you are interested in used

If I Recall Correctly.:)

As for F.N. Sports, I have heard a lot of bad stories about them. Ask anybody who has ever had to send something back through them for warranty. They set a new standard for bad service, and frankly don't care what anybody thinks because they make more money from their military and LE department contracts than from civilian sales.

Unfortunately for us, you are right in your observation.

Regarding the Chinese M1 A's. The ones who bring these in should pre screen them (or offer ones that are guaranteed to have) the front sights properly aligned, and repeatable/proper GI rear sights. Then all would be well in Norinco land. I realize this is not difficult for M 14 buffs, but why should paying customers need to get this extra work done in the first place?

I would be willing to pay slightly more to get the item correct the first time around.

Well I have tried all the recomended dealers from this thread and no one has a M1A. The one dealer says they been waiting a year. I guess the guns must be pointed east not north FML, free trade my ass

Yea I talked to tactical and no luck there either, as far as EE goes I talked to him as well, he is selling the M1A for a buddy thats out of country and doesnt have room to play with the price. I could be wrong but 2300.00 seems a little high for used. I would spend the extra for a new one.I looked at the LRB rifle packages and shiiiit they look sweet. But Im going to keep checking dealers if theres any left in Canada first I been on this cpu and phone since the bug hit me a week ago.It bugs the #### out of me that almost every web site in the states has them ,even on sale in some cases 1300.00

Anybody have any experiance with fulton armory M14 rifles? I talked to them today I could have one built and on its way 3 weeks after ordering. but its double the cost compared to a Springfield.

I would not spend one red penny at fulton. They have been staunchly anti canadian for as long as I've been aware.
I might have a seriously expensive all usgi on a norc receiver for sale soon. I've been itchin to dump some serious cash into my jeep... Watch the ee it might show up soon ;)

Yea I told them we were the master race and they had to hand over all their weapons then I I told them that I was interesed in a build and what their delivery time would be. Girl name was ANDREA I dont like to forgot the opposite ### name even more when im ordering something that my mopquasher hates. She talked to someone came back with 3 to 4 weeks.I Tried LRB but as you prabally know 6 months or better.Alghough I found a M25 RECEIVER on gunbroker for 1300.00 and shaun at LRB would push out a gun in 3 or so weeks if I supplied .hEY doc while were chatting whats your thoughs I bought a Poly yesterday now comes what I REALLY want is a high end m14 that would be bush ready is Fulton quialty worth the loot? compared to SA or is there other manuf that I should look at?

One other note of interest guy on gunbroker is selling SEI rifles for 2500 think he has five . ARMSCOR RECEIVERS and all the parts that from I read here sound like hot items if one of you guys with more experiance than me could check it out and let me know if its a good buy that would be a favor owed.

The biggest problem dealing with US manufacturers is that you've got to worry about importing them. I'm not sure if you've read a bunch of the other threads but it takes some time and some $$ to get one of those rifles accros the border once you've purchased it. And even then there are no gurantees. As far as quality it depends on what you want it for. If you're doing service rifle competitions you may want a super match m1a or lrb. If you just want a knock around bush gun, I'd say a supedup norc is perfect, or a standard m1a if that's what you have your heart set on.

Sounds reasonable bought a Poly yester for general banging I tend to look for more quaility for my hunting guns as every shot means happeness or dissapoinment mostly dissapoited though maybe I should rethink that jk. Shipping isnt as bad as I thought about 50.00 to ship to FFL HOLDER then the wait maybe 1 month then the Alberta guy I have as a 3rd party does the paper work and makes his schedled rounds to pick tham up in the states for the handy sum of 195.00 Not bad when you consider you can get a SA standard shipped to ffl for 1400.00 us Canada if their was one would be more than 2400.00

Of all the u.s. Receivers/builds... For my personal tastes I'd would buy nothing but an LRB. Worth the wait in my opinion.

If you like the LBR you could make this into a build project. if you have time. I ordered a M25 receiver from LRB it will take 8 months to get here. That give me plenty of time to assemble all the parts I need and have a true m21-m25 rifle. it gets really expensive but you dont have to spend the money all at once. I will probably end up with something that is worth a lot more than a springfield and shoots better.

Bruce47 its a supply and demand thing, the guy on GB is asking $300+ more than retail. I say if you're aware of that and okay with it, and you want it now, then why not?
