These mags are now officially on my Crap list. Found out that when loaded to full 5 rounds the magazines (all four mags I bought) will not latch on when the bolt is closed. This is no problem for the 5/20 or 5/5 Norinco magazines. Only loading 4 will allow the magazine to latch on with bolt closed. Of course, this isn't a problem if you just load open bolt, but found something else, too. Sometimes the follower plate will get stuck bullet end first from time to time. I have no idea why this occurs. A good slap to the magazine get's it going again. It may just be my rifle, but I'm not really satisfied with them. They're still functional but I'm gonna sell them.

Sort of. The rear of the follower interacts with 3 coils of the whole spring while the front of the follower reacts with it all. So sometimes, one outpaces the other. It doesn't occur unless loaded to full 5 as the spring doesn't touch the rivet until then. It seems to be riveted a bit too close to the top, too.
