I need your honest opinion now. I was shooting my buddies Polytech and I loved it, I want one. Is it worth spending the money and buying a Springfield Armory or just buy a Polytech?

This is my custom built Polytech, forged from end to end.

It cost less money to build than buying a Springfield (which is cast).

I have owned a few Springfields over the years and I'll be sticking with Norc/Poly's

I often think that I should have another M14. Then I remember how disappointed I was with the accuracy from my first one. Maybe someday I'll buy another, but who knows. Something else that is non-restricted and more accurate may pop up before then.

Shooting sub 2" with an M14 may actually be more impressive than sub half MOA with a premier level bolt gun and may tell you more about the shooter.

you are a smart man, that is a great way to think of it. I believe that I will pick up a Polytech but is there any must have after market items that I should be getting for it?
