M2 ,50 barrel, where can I find one?

I see marstar has sold out and bits of pieces has barrel blanks available, but I want a chambered and threaded barrel. I'm trying be be cheap.
Does anybody know where to find one, or have one for sale?
 
Cheap and 50 cal are never in the same sentence. With the US banning the export of 50 cal everything its hard to get barrels and ?? so you are pretty much obliged to pay whatever is commanded if you really need or want it :mrgreen:
 
I'm in Alberta, and I'm willing to spend the cash required,but hey, I gotta search out every option! I've got the equiptment and the skill, and some money, but budget is always the driving force. I really want a fifty, oh yeah.

What are you planning to use for an action?? I have 50 cal barrels and reamer and a full machine shop, as I make 50 cal rifles. :mrgreen:
 
I was thinking about the Bill Holmes type action, but with a few changes to better suite my tastes. It's pretty straight forward, and since my wood skills are so so, the all metal construction is better suited to my abilities. I've built a few single shots , and bolt actions over the years, so most of my smithing skills are better than average. what's a barrel worth out of your shop? How much will a reamer run me out of Brownells through you, or any other sourced reamer? Thanks, or would you rather pm me?
 
A reamer and go goge will run you near the $300.00 US mark to bring 1 in. I had Dave Manson make mine to tight tolerances. He is a bit easier to deal with than Brownells will be on this particular reamer. With barrels as near impossible to get I am hesitant to let 1 go without my building a gun, if Barry at Bits will sell you 1 I would hop on it. The only other option may be to try ebay and hope someone will send it, there is a major risk of loosing it the border. If you can find a barrel that is NOT stelite lined , I am more than happy to chamber it at less than the cost of the reamer and gage, to save you the cost of a reamer for 1 time use. Thanks to everyone for all the information. I've sourced out a barrel, and I'm in the process of acquiring it. Does O.T.G. still exist? In the eighties that place was like a machine gun buyers paradise. If only it was 1984 again, I could have my guns and my hair back, that would be cool.
 
I happen to have a 50 cal barrel it was mil spec, had it turned down and shortened. It is 50 cal, mint mint mint, no chamber has been cut yet, it is threaded for mauser98 action. 450. This just covers the cost of the machining, and doesnt cover the cost of the original barrel %0 cal barrels arent cheap now that the supply has dried up.

Trying to get the work done is another story. Was going to buiold a 510 whisper, but its hard to get the reamers
