Probably a repost but looking for some advice on which to buy. What is the difference between the M2 and the black eagle? After checking the web all I can find is 1-price, 2-sight bead, 3-sbe is tapped for mounts, 4-M2 is slightly lighter, 5-3" chamber in M2. Appreciate any insight

I've got an M2 and use it for just about everything, skeet, ducks, geese and turkey. It reliably cycles 1 ounce target loads and recoil with the heavier loads is nothing. Unless you like or need 3.5 inch loads I don't see the point. But you can't go wrong with either of them. Mine gets pretty dirty sitting in my kayak in the swamps and always works. You won't be disappointed with either one.

You've captured most of it.....only other significant design difference would be - the SBE II bbl + the upper portion of the receiver is a single unit.

If you don't care about a 3.5inch chamber and/or a scope on your shotgun.....then you really won't miss much in way of features. As already mentioned, the M2 will do all the SBE II could do :)

I got to shoot one while skeet shooting on Sunday and I was extremely impressed. For being so light I thought it would give you a nice punch but boy was I wrong.....now I want one
