I want to know if anyone has one. Knows who can make a clone or who sells them.

I think it would be pretty neet to see one at a range, and possibly fire off a few rounds from or even own.

It'd be nice to even have gun ranges that go that far...

 $16,000 usd for the rifle? $1,300 usd for a case of ammo (198 rounds)? ouch

I guess that works out to $6.56 per cartridge. $638 of ammo to break it in.

Blahh....what do those guys know. If Marky Mark can hit a can of beans at 1760 (cold bore) then it must be one heckuva rifle....;).

They dropped the cash on them and reported problems. Unlike cheap Canadians who daydream about ownership and ##### about the fantasy:p BTW who is Marky Mark?

Exactly. If you can afford (and not just buy) a $16 000 system, you're going to have factored in the cost of upkeep as well.

Reread the thread on the hide. Quality control was the issue. the guys had to get the ammo supplier to fix the gun, the manufacturer was only interested in the sale.

For a $16,000 rifle, it better be perfect though. My Remington 700 cost $700 and it can shoot better than 1.5 MOA at 100 yards. It probably can't shoot past 1200 yards accurately though.

I'm pretty sure knockturnal was referring to the cost of ammunition, which I agreed with.
